Pearson's Berry Farm is a great place for a relaxing outing, most days the aroma of baking pies drifts from our factory kitchen. During picking season you can pick pailfuls of plump juicy berries from our well tended orchards. We have a limited amount of pre-picked berries available for purchase during harvest but please call ahead as the pre-picked berries are in limited supply.

The saskatoon is a member of the apple family and is found growing wild in open woods, along stream banks and on dry slopes. The word saskatoon comes from the Cree word mis-sask-quah-too-min. Saskatoons were very important to the Native peoples of Western Canada providing food and medicine. The berries were used in stews and pemmican.
